Terms of Service
Welcome to Momentuum. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MomentuumBot on Telegram and the Momentuum website (collectively, "the service"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the service.
1. The service
Momentuum is a chat-native job application tracker delivered through Telegram. The service helps job seekers:
- Log and track job applications
- Set follow-up reminders
- Search for relevant job listings
- Score how well a job posting matches their profile
- Export their application history
Some features are free; others are available only to premium subscribers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Momentuum. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
Your account is tied to your Telegram user ID. You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of information you provide
- All activity that occurs through your account
- Keeping your Telegram account secure
If your Telegram account is compromised, contact Telegram for recovery; we are unable to restore access on your behalf.
4. Premium subscriptions
Pricing. Premium is offered at a recurring monthly fee. The current price is displayed on our website and inside the bot at the time of subscription.
Payments. Payments are processed by Paystack. By subscribing, you agree to Paystack's terms in addition to ours.
Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the next billing date.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until that date.
Refunds. Refunds are not provided for partial months. If a payment is taken in error, contact us within 14 days and we will review the case.
Feature changes. We may add, remove, or modify premium features over time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data from the service in bulk
- Impersonate another person
- Use the service to harass, defame, or harm others
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to access the underlying source code or infrastructure beyond normal use
- Resell or redistribute access to the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Job listings and third-party content
The service surfaces job listings from third-party job boards (such as Remotive and Jobicy). We do not control these listings and are not responsible for:
- The accuracy or freshness of job postings
- The hiring practices of the companies listed
- Any interactions you have with employers after applying
Applying to jobs surfaced through Momentuum is at your own discretion and risk.
7. AI-generated content
Some features (such as job fit scoring and coaching advice) use AI to generate responses. AI-generated content:
- May contain inaccuracies
- Should not be treated as professional career, legal, or financial advice
- Is intended as a helpful signal, not a definitive judgement
Always use your own judgement when making decisions about your career.
8. Intellectual property
The Momentuum name, logo, branding, bot, website, and underlying software are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
Your data (applications, profile, notes) belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the service.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any specific job outcomes will result from using the service
- Job fit scores will accurately predict hiring outcomes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Momentuum, its operators, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost opportunities, lost data, or missed job applications.
Our total liability in any given month is limited to the amount you paid us in that month (if any).
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued service becomes impractical for legal, technical, or operational reasons.
Upon termination, your access to premium features will end. Your data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy unless you request deletion.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where Momentuum is registered. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nigeria, unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
